Is the personal website a dead concept? Are privacy-invading, corporate puppet, social networking sites the new internet? Nobody gives you their website address anymore, they want you to follow them on Facebook or Twitter.

It's incredible how quickly the internet evolves, but it's downright frightening to observe just HOW it IS evolving. Once a wild and promising technology full of hopes and dreams, it's now in the clutches of media giants wishing to control it for data mining and shove-it-down-your-throat advertising.

So, this site still stands. I still pay to keep it up and running. I still update it when I feel like it, or in this case, because I'm trying a new HTML editor. I don't have ads, I don't have partnerships, I don't have commissions. The adspace in the design will be used for charity or news items, etc.  This site is just a site about me, as boring as it seems (or is).

This is my little corner of freedom.
